A stone house over a hundred years old in Melres, in the Douro Valley, forty minutes from Porto. No televisions, no screens — just the land, the river and the silence.

Couples escaping the city, families with children who enjoy collecting eggs from the henhouse and watering the vegetable garden, and travellers who value calm, garden-grown food and a good spa ritual. We host guests from Portugal, Spain, France, Germany and many other countries — the site is available in five languages so that nobody feels lost.

Who built it
This site was built by Ana and Pedro, the hosts of the house, with the support of Base44. It was designed to show the house exactly as it is and, at the same time, to simplify the daily work of managing rooms, rates, bookings and expenses.
