Cancellation Policy

1. Free cancellation
You may cancel your booking free of charge up to 7 days before the arrival date. In that case no amount is charged and any amounts already paid are refunded in full.
2. Cancellation within 7 days
If you cancel within the 7 days before arrival, the first night of the stay will be charged. The remaining nights are not charged.
3. No-show and early departure
In the event of a no-show, the full amount of the booked stay is charged. In the event of early departure, unused nights are not refunded.
4. How to cancel
Cancellations must be notified in writing to reservas@casadoporco.com, stating the booking name and dates. The date the email is received determines the applicable period.
5. Refunds
Refunds are made using the same payment method, within a maximum of 14 days from confirmation of the cancellation.
6. Date changes
Date changes are subject to availability and to the conditions of the rate for the new dates. Change requests notified less than 7 days in advance may be treated as a cancellation.
7. Force majeure
In exceptional and duly proven force majeure situations — such as natural disasters, travel restrictions imposed by authorities or serious illness of the guest — Casa do Porco may, at its discretion, offer a date change at no charge instead of cancellation.
8. Cancellation by Casa do Porco
If Casa do Porco has to cancel a booking for reasons attributable to it, the guest is refunded in full and, wherever possible, an equivalent accommodation alternative is offered.
9. Consumer rights
This policy does not set aside the rights granted to guests by Portuguese and European consumer protection law, in particular regarding distance contracts.
